As a matter of fact, I think my wife owns the Denise Austin Pilates workout DVD. She seemed to enjoy it when she was going through it. This is another one of those As Seen on TV items that you can be kind of skeptical about. After all, there a million different products out there that they swear will help you lose weight and get into the best shape of your life. Obviously someone is lying here, otherwise we would not have an obesity problem in the United States…know what I mean?

So I went out to her sight to see what additional products she is selling and it appears that she has a whole mess of new exercise DVDs as well. In addition to the DVDs she offers, she has also stood up an online weight loss program that is designed to provide people with the resources and encouragement they need to lose the weight. I thought that was neat.

I went out to Amazon.com to take a look at the reviews on several of her products, and the majority of people that have bought these products have given them 4 and 5 marks. That is pretty good. There was the occasional “this is no good” comment, but almost all of the reviews were people who were ecstatic with the Denise Austin DVDs.

As far as “As Seen on TV Exercise Equipment” items go, I think I would feel pretty comfortable at least giving these a shot. One of the other nice things is that if you poke around the web, you can probably find them for half of what they cost originally.
