Exercising is a big deal. We all know we need to do it. As we watch our abs or butts or stomach grow, we think we need to do something about it. Then we visit the doctor and he insists that we exercise and eat well including natural nutrients for our healthy well-being. There are millions of dollars spent on home exercise equipment. Exercise equipment consisting of bikes, simple and easy rowing machines to steppers and lots of other devices. Everyone has a product that will make exercise easy and worthwhile. You can spend a lot of money on these items. I know because I have done it…my basement is full of them.

The manufacturers of The Firm’s “The Wave” have tried to do something about the space limitations and ease of use. They developed a small simple curved device that supposedly will make exercise easy and fun and not take up a lot of space.

You can turn The Wave on one side and do steps exercises or use the enclosed bands to get different workouts. You can then turn The Wave over with the curved ends up and while stepping on the two ends move your body back and forth to get a workout that way.

There are many different reviews on The Wave. One review indicated that the novice exercisers that purchased the device were disappointed. They felt it moved too quickly for a novice to use. Another review thought the device was wonderful for all types of exercises including Cardio, toning and a complete core workout. The reviewer said the workouts were professionally produced and were all different exercises.

However, they did point out that it was a bit cheap and creaked when you used it. They also pointed out that it had a weight limit of 275 pounds. They stated there was a steep learning curve for the exercises and the instructors tended to go a little fast with their instructions. A 30 day membership to the website comes with the product but you have to go online and cancel the membership, according to the reviewer. They did however feel it was worth the price to at least try it.

If you decide to give “The Wave” a try, please consider coming back here and letting us know what you think. Were your experiences with it similar to those of the folks listed above?

Now get out there and get in shape!

As Seen on TV Exercise Equipment – Overview:
The Firm is actually a company that produces a multitude of exercise equipment products for the do it yourself, at home workout crowd. I have previously reviewed some of the other As Seen on TV exercise equipment they sell on this site. This company has quite a following, and the Internet is littered with their many workout DVDs and equipment. The drive of this organization is to empower people to take their fitness into their own hands, and to that end they provide workout videos that will help you target any muscle group on your body.

As Seen on TV Exercise Equipment – Product overview:
The Wave is a very straightforward, simple piece of equipment. It uses its unique shape to maximize the workout that its users get. This piece of TV exercise equipment is curved on one side, and flat on the other. This provides for a stable surface (flat side down) if you are working through the step aerobics or band training. Then, for stabilization training, and core strengthening, you can turn it over and put the curved side against the ground. This allows you to work exercises that focus on balance and strengthen several muscle groups at the same time.

As Seen on TV Exercise Equipment – Turin’s Review:
I went out on line to read what different users had to say about this product. As usual, there is a mixed bag of opinions on the equipment, which does not come as a surprise. There are reviews written by folks that are very adept at this type of exercise, and they love the Wave exercise equipment and the DVDs. There are also those that are new to the fitness game that purchased the series believing that it was suited to the needs of a novice. This group of consumers was not happy with the product and felt that it moved to quickly for a novice. Given the mixed reviews, if you were considering the purchase of this type of TV exercise equipment, I think I would look out on the Internet and see if I could find it used or at a discount. This way, if you try it and decide that it is not right for you, you will only be out a couple of bucks, and should be able to resell it for what you paid for it.

Cheers and good luck on your exercise goals!
